My wife and I were searching for and bought these solar large bulb multicolor indoor outdoor Christmas lights for decorating a small fence we have in the backyard.
These worked out wonderfully as these have the bigger C6 size led's which put out ample light without being too bright. The eight modes provide a really cool effect as you can keep them steady on or do a number of different combinations of chase, flash, slow glow, wave, slow fade. The solar panel works really good, but in our experience the amount of time you get from the lights is highly dependent on how you orient the panel towards the sun, and both the strength and number of hours of direct sun you get each day.
This is ideal if you or someone you know wants some colorful, bright, acorn-shaped, inexpensive, no-hassle set it up and forget it holiday lights that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors, as long as the solar panel is provided enough sun to power the lights up. We even had some rain and it did not affect these from working at all.
The best part about these are that the solar panel on a stake is easy to put into the ground, you let the sun charge them up, you turn them on to select the mode that fits your mood. We enjoy these when the sun goes down, and the power lasts for about four hours or more depending on the amount of sun these get.
